Our Economy 2022 is the North East LEP’s annual update on the state of the region's economy. Each year it provides an update on progress and change in the North East economy, looking at the six KPIs in the North East Strategic Economic Plan, and over 100 other economic metrics.

Our Economy 2022 is the North East LEP’s annual update on the state of the region's economy. 

Each year we provide an update on progress and change in the North East economy, looking at the six KPIs in the North East Strategic Economic Plan and over 100 other economic metrics. It aims to report on the progress that has been made in driving forward the ambitions in the Strategic Economic Plan whilst also looking at a wider range of trends.

In additon to the indicators, we are taking a deep dive the impact into the costs of living for our residents and costs of doing business.

We are also publishing the results of an economic foresight study looking to identify future growth markets for the North East LEP area.
