Evidence is categorised by theme, based on the work of the North East Combined Authority ("NECA"). Some datasets and reports appear under more than one theme heading. Until May 2024, this Evidence Hub was managed by the North East Local Enterprise Partnership ("the LEP"). Some of the hub's content and priorities still reflect the narrower range of work that the LEP undertook. The themes on this page are evolving to reflect NECA's focus. There may still be references to the North East LEP area but the two organisations share the same geography.
